Commuters leaving Lagos were stranded on Thursday afternoon after two fallen containers obstructed movement on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Gatekeepers News reports that one of the containers fell at 10:50 a.m. on Kara Bridge, while the other fell at 2 p.m. on the Long Bridge.
As a result, traffic was at a standstill, extending from Otedola Bridge back to Alapere area.
Spokesperson for Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun State Command, Florence Okpe said operatives of the command, alongside other emergency responders, were working to restore traffic flow.
She noted that no casualty was recorded, and first responders were on the scene to ease the situation.
