The group reportedly carries out attacks at will across communities in Kaiama LGA (including Kemaanji, Tenebo, Baabete, Nuku, and Nanu) and in Yashikira District of Baruten LGA, both in Kwara State. They have also taken control of areas within Babana and Wawa Districts of Borgu LGA in Niger State.

According to local accounts, the group, led by a figure issuing threats via voice notes, is involved in killings, kidnappings, and ransom demands.
