Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rescheduled date for 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Gatekeepers News reports that Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s spokesman, in a statement on Saturday, noted that the UTME will now hold on April 24.
Benjamin said the new date was set to accommodate essential commitments by the board and its partner agencies.
The board advised candidates to print their examination slips, adding that the document will include the date, venue, and time for their paper.
JAMB noted that the slip will also entail the details necessary for having a successful examination.
The statement reads, “This adjustment has been made to accommodate essential commitments by the board and its partner agencies.”
“In preparation for the examination, prospective candidates can now print their notification slips, which contain vital information regarding their exam details.”
“Candidates are encouraged to print their Notification Slips starting today, Saturday, April 19, 2025.”
“This will provide ample time for logistical arrangements to access their assigned centres within the chosen examination towns.”
JAMB also urged candidates to get acquainted with their examination centres to ensure a smooth experience on exam day.
The examination body advised the candidates to ensure that they print their slips at least a day before the examination.
It added, “Please note that candidates will be assigned to centres within their chosen examination towns; no candidate will be placed in a centre outside their selected town.”
To print the slip, candidates were advised to visit JAMB website, click on “2025 UTME Slip Printing,” and enter their registration number.
