In a bid to strengthen the existing synergy between the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Army, the Commissioner of Police, Cross River State Command, CP Olusegun Eyitayo Omosanyin, on Wednesday, paid a courtesy visit to the Headquarters of 13 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Calabar.
Gatekeepers News reports that the CP, accompanied by members of his Management Team, was warmly received by the Commander of the Brigade alongside senior officers.
The visit provided an opportunity for both agencies to deliberate on key areas of mutual interest, including intelligence gathering and sharing, operational collaboration, and enhanced support structures to bolster security across the state.
CP Omosanyin emphasised the importance of sustained inter-agency cooperation in addressing contemporary security challenges and reaffirmed the commitment of the Police to deepening ties with the military.
The visit concluded with the CP signing the Visitors’ Register and a group photograph to mark the occasion.
