Edo State Government has announced the cancellation of the Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Gatekeepers News reports that the decision was made to accommodate candidates sitting for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which commenced on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
According to the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, the exercise will now hold on the last Saturday of May 2025, between 7:00 am and 10:00 am.
Despite the cancellation, the government encourages all Edo residents to maintain cleanliness in their immediate environments.
The State Government said it remains committed to ensuring a safer, healthier, and cleaner environment for its residents.
