A competition and consumer protection tribunal has upheld the $220 million fine the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) imposed on Meta Platforms Incorporated.
Gatekeepers News reports that Ondaje Ljagwu, the agency’s director for corporate affairs, announced this on Friday in a statement.
FCCPC noted that the tribunal also awarded $35,000 to it as cost of investigation.
