President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Friday, embark on a two-day official visit to Katsina state.
Gatekeepers News reports that Bayo Onanuga, special adviser to the president on information and strategy, announced this in a statement on Thursday.
Onanuga noted that the visit will focus on security and development priorities in the north-western state.
He said Tinubu will meet with key stakeholders to review the region’s security situation.
The president will also inaugurate the newly completed Katsina Agricultural Mechanization Centre and a 24-kilometre dual carriageway executed by Governor Dikko Umar Radda’s administration.
Onanuga added that President Tinubu will also attend the wedding ceremony of Radda’s daughter.
The president is expected to return to Abuja after the engagements on Saturday.
