Moyosore Ogunlewe, chairman of Kosofe LGA in Lagos, has secured All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for a second term.

Gatekeepers News reports that Ogunlewe was unopposed in the party’s primary held on Saturday at APC secretariat on Acme Road, Ikeja. His candidacy was uncontested as other aspirants stepped down in his favor.

Similarly, Usman Hamzat, the chairman of Ifako-Ijaiye LGA, also won the APC primary, positioning him for the upcoming local government elections scheduled for July 12.

The elections will be conducted across Lagos’ 20 LGAs and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).

Other APC primary winners include Olalekan Aroyewu (Igbogbo), Rossini Oluyemisi (Ojokoro), Akindipe Olamilekan (Ajeromi-Ifelodun), Okeowo Oluremi (Ifelodun), Yusuf Sule (Surulere), and Ogidan Azeez (Coker-Aguda).

Also among them are Tola Oyedele (Agboyi-Ketu), Taoheed Taiwo (Ejigbo), Muibi Alade (Lagos Island-East), Sanusi Ismail (Amuwo-Odofin), Rufai Muibat (Ojo), Taiwo Oyekan (Lagos Island), Wale Ameen (Ikorodu-North), and Samsideen Agunbiade (Eti-Osa East).

Others are Hunkpe Babatunde (Badagry), Sura Olayemi Animashaun (Epe), Olasoju Adebayo Babatunde (Isolo), Sesan Olowa (Ibeju-Lekki), Anomo Adewale (Ikosi-Ejirin), Ibrahim Rauf (Badagry-West), Ladega Adedayo (Ikorodu), and Rasak Oloyede (Oriade).

More winners include Abiodun Akinola (Orile-Agege), Ashimi Lateef (Shomolu), Bada Abolanle (Ikosi-Isheri), Oloyede Kehinde (Oshodi-Isolo), Sunday Benson (Imota), Kazeem Sulaimon (Ikorodu-West), Sebanjo Idowu (Apapa), Ajose Peter (Olorunda LCDA), Ismail Monsuru (Eredo), Opeyemi Akindele (Mosan-Okunola), Agbaje Abiodun (Ayobo-Ipaja), and Akinpelu Ibrahim (Alimosho).
