Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo has approved a reshuffle, affecting Heads of three (3) Boards within Education Sector in the state.
Gatekeepers News reports that the move is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and improving quality service delivery in the sector.
Umar Musa Ikhilor, Secretary to the State Government in a statement on Tuesday, 20 May, 2025, noted that the reshuffling is with immediate effect.
Chairman of the Board for Technical and Vocational Education (BTVE), Dr. Maureen Osaro Ekhoragbon, has been redeployed to the State Secondary Education Board (SSEB) as Chairman.
Additionally, Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Barr. Onomen Goodness Briggs, has been redeployed to BTVE as Chairman.
In the same vein, Chairman of SSEB, Omonzane Ebanehita Sonia has been redeployed to SUBEB as Acting Chairman, pending the confirmation by the State House of Assembly.
