Senators from Osun State elected under Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term ahead of 2027 presidential election.
Gatekeepers News reports that Senators Kamarudeen Oyewumi (Osun West), Olubiyi Ajagunla (Osun Central), and Francis Fadahunsi (Osun East) in a joint statement on Wednesday, expressed their support following a meeting held the previous day.
The lawmakers expressed their support for Tinubu’s leadership, highlighting his achievements in governance, economic reforms, and infrastructure development.
They praised the administration’s initiatives, noting that there were visible improvements in national security and a notable reduction in food prices, which they described as evidence of the president’s effective policies.
They said, “This endorsement is not just symbolic — it reflects our deep confidence in President Tinubu’s ability to deliver on the promise of democracy.”
“The Osun PDP Senators’ Caucus is united and unwavering in its support. There is no internal dissent; we stand as one.”
