Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has announced an exclusive partnership with Premier Product Marketing LLC, a field marketing company based in the United States.
Gatekeepers News reports that the collaboration aims to facilitate the export of its polypropylene to international markets beyond Nigeria and Africa.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the company highlighted that this strategic agreement with Premier Product, which is a subsidiary of Vinmar International LLC, coincides with the upcoming launch of polypropylene production at its refinery and petrochemical complex.
“Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE has announced an exclusive partnership with Premier Product Marketing LLC, a Vinmar company, to bring ‘Dangote Polypropylene’ to global markets outside Nigeria and Africa,” the statement reads.
“This strategic agreement coincides with the launch of polypropylene production at Dangote’s world-class refinery and petrochemical complex in Lekki, Nigeria.
“The state-of-the-art plant utilises INEOS’s proven INNOVENE technology to produce high-quality polypropylene grades for a wide range of applications in industries such as packaging, automotive, textiles, and construction.”
Speaking on the new partnership, Fatima Dangote, group executive director (commercial) at the Dangote Group, said the refinery is pleased to partner with Vinmar to introduce “Dangote Polypropylene” to the global markets.
“The ‘Dangote Polypropylene’ will follow other Dangote products to become a global brand known for quality and reliability,” she said.
Vishal Goradia, chief executive officer (CEO) of Vinmar Group, said he is proud to expand “our relationship with Dangote through this important partnership.”
He said Vinmar has been honoured to count Dangote as a valued customer in Nigeria for decades, adding that “we are thrilled to now support the global launch of ‘Dangote Polypropylene’”.
