Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated Inter Milan 5-0 in the match played at Allianz Arena, Munich, on Saturday.
Gatekeepers News reports that PSG scored two goals in the first 20 minutes and added three more in a dominant second-half display.
This marked a historic milestone for the French capital side, securing their first UEFA Champions League triumph in the club’s 55-year history.
The opening goal came in the 12th minute when Vitinha split the Inter defense with a pass to Doue, who squared it for Hakimi to tap into an empty net.
Eight minutes later, a swift PSG counter-attack ended with Ousmane Dembélé finding Doue, whose shot took a deflection off Federico Dimarco and beat Yann Sommer for 2-0.
Inter tried to respond, with Marcus Thuram heading narrowly wide in their first meaningful chance. However, PSG continued to dominate, with Doue and Kvaratskhelia going close before the break.
In the second half, Doue finished a slick team move to make it 3-0 before Kvaratskhelia added a fourth. Mayulu then rounded off the scoring at the near post.
With this win, PSG became the second French club to lift the UCL trophy, after Marseille.
