Russia and Nigeria played out a thrilling 1-1 draw in their international friendly match held at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

Russia took an early lead when Nigerian defender Semi Ajayi scored an own goal in the 27th minute. However, the Super Eagles showed resilience and determination, equalising in the 71st minute through Tolu Arokodare’s well-taken goal.
