Nyesom Wike, minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has convened a meeting with select members of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from South-South and South-East in an effort to stop the planned national convention.
Gatekeepers News reports that PDP Governors, following a meeting in April held in Ibadan, Oyo State, had scheduled the party’s national convention for August 28.
During the convention, new members of the National Working Committee (NWC) are expected to be elected.
