President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid a visit to the victims of the recent attack in Yelewata community, Guma LGA of Benue state.
Gatekeepers News reports that the attack, which took place on Saturday, claimed the lives of over 100 people and left many others severely injured.
After the president touched down at Tactical Air Command of Nigerian Air Force Base in Makurdi around 12:58 p.m. on Wednesday, 18, June, he proceeded to Benue State Teaching Hospital where some of the injured victims are receiving treatment.
President Tinubu was accompanied by Hyacinth Alia, the state Governor, and other top government officials.
