Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has appointed Late Samuel Osaigbovo Ogbemudia’s daughter, Dr. Amen Ogbemudia, as the new Director-General of the Directorate of Education Quality Assurance (DEQA).
Gatekeepers News reports that the appointment was announced on Thursday in a press release signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq.
Dr. Ogbemudia is a seasoned Educationist with experience in Educational Management and Administration, spanning over a decade. She holds a B.Sc. Ed (Accounting) degree from Benson Idahosa University, Masters degree in Educational Management and Ph.D in Educational Administration from the University of Benin, respectively.
The new Director-General is also known for her creative and skilled writing, capacity-building expertise, strategy development skills, and motivational speaking abilities.
