Ceasefire between Israel and Iran, brokered by US President Donald Trump, is facing challenges just hours after its announcement. Both sides had agreed to pause hostilities, but allegations of violations have sparked tensions.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Israeli military claimed Iran launched missiles toward its territory, prompting a strong reaction from Israel. However, Iran denied these allegations, accusing Israel of launching attacks that continued for over 90 minutes after the ceasefire’s scheduled start time.

US President Donald Trump expressed frustration with both sides, particularly Israel, for violating the ceasefire.

“Israel, as soon as we made the deal, they came out and they dropped a load of bombs, the likes of which I’ve never seen before,” Trump said.

He also posted on Truth Social, “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO, IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!”

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council warned that any further aggression would be met with a “decisive, firm, and timely response”. The council stated that Iran’s military had forced Israel to “unilaterally accept defeat and accept a ceasefire”.

Earlier, an Iranian ballistic missile hit a residential building in Israel’s southern city of Beersheba, killing four people. This incident occurred just before the ceasefire was set to take effect.
