Adeleke Debunks Defection Rumours – Reaffirms Commitment To PDP

Ademola Adeleke, Governor of Osun state, has dismissed rumours suggesting that he plans to leave Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Gatekeepers News reports that the rumour
comes amid the coalition of opposition leaders with African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Additionally, there have been rumours of the Governor’s defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Adeleke in a statement on Saturday, described the defection rumours as false and unfounded, assuring both residents of Osun and Nigerians at large of his unwavering commitment to the PDP.

The Governor revealed that he had received numerous inquiries regarding his alleged defection in recent hours.

He reiterated that his focus remains on delivering on his administration’s five-point development agenda and ensuring good governance across the state.

He said, “ I want to assure the good people of Osun State and Nigerians at large; I remain a loyal member, and the leader of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State.”

“My focus remains on delivering good governance and fulfilling our 5-point agenda for Osun people.”

“Please disregard the fake news and continue to support our mission for a better Osun state.”
