Atiku’s Presidential Ambitions ‘Not Destined By God’ – Bwala

Daniel Bwala, a former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign, has opined that his former principal may not be destined to become Nigeria’s president.

Gatekeepers Newreports that on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme, Bwala expressed his opinion on Atiku’s chances of unseating President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

“There is my former principal who believes that he is going to win,” Bwala said, dismissing the prospects of Atiku and other opposition coalition leaders, including Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi.

He added, “In all honesty, I have expressed my opinion that it may never have been destined by God to be a president in Nigeria because he has done everything he needs to do to be president and he did not win the presidency.”

Bwala pointed to the 2023 general election as a crucial opportunity for Atiku, which he believes will not be replicated. “[The year] 2023 was the biggest opportunity that my former principal Atiku Abubakar had. He will never have that kind of privilege again,” he said.

Bwala’s comments come after he pledged loyalty to President Tinubu, having previously served as Atiku’s spokesperson during the 2023 presidential campaign.
