Linda Yaccarino has resigned as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of X.
Gatekeepers News reports that Linda took over as CEO of the platform in June 2023, following her previous position as head of advertising at NBCUniversal.
In a farewell post on X, Yaccarino expressed deep gratitude to Musk for allowing her to protect “free speech”, “turning the company around”, and work toward building the “Everything App.”
She described her time at X as “two incredible years.” The platform’s owner, Elon Musk, responded briefly, saying, “Thank you for your contributions.”
Yaccarino’s resignation comes amid growing challenges for Musk, including declining Tesla sales and political tensions with former ally Donald Trump, alongside reports that Musk is considering launching a new political party.
The company is yet to issue a statement on her departure.
