Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon Dr. Ali Bukar Dalori on Monday dismissed the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) as a convergence of political jesters, saying they pose no threat to the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.

Gatekeepers News reports that Hon. Dalori said the APC’s focus at both federal and state levels is on continuously providing democratic dividends to Nigerians, with the ultimate goal of improving their lives.

Dalori made this known during an interview without journalists in Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital. He said his his party is not loosing sleep over the coalition of other political parties ahead of the general elections in 2027.

According to Dalori, ” All the politicians jumping into the ADC today are of no threat to the continuity of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu In 2027. The chances of President Tinubu winning the election in 2027 is even brighter that it was in 2023 .

” These politicians were all at different political parties in 2023 and didn’t vote for President Tinubu, our Governors , Senators House of Representatives Members, yet we defeated them , they’ve got nothing to offer Nigerians, they are just a a congregation of political jokers,” Dalori said.

On the state of the APC leadership, the Acting National Chairman stated that he’s ready to step down and revert to his position as the Deputy National Chairman (North) as soon as a new Chairman emerges , noting that he’s holding the position temporarily as stipulated by the party’s constitution.

Hon. Dalori, a former APC Chairman in his home state of Borno, revealed that the party leaders are preparing for the National Executive Council ( NEC) meeting slated for July 24th to select a substantive National Chairman following Abdullahi Ganduje’s resignation due to health reasons.

” In few days to come , our leaders and relevant stakeholders of the APC will decide on who becomes the next Chairman of our great party . We will support the decision and resolution reached and march forward as a united front ” Dalori said
