‘I Didn’t Reject Tinubu’s Appointment’ – Mohammed Babangida

Family of former Military President, Mohammed Babangida, has denied reports that his son, Mohammed Babangida, rejected an appointment as Chairman of the Bank of Agriculture (BOA).

Gatekeepers Newreports that according to Mahmud Abdullahi, a media aide to Mohammed Babangida, the letter circulating on social media is “fake” and was concocted by disgruntled elements.

Abdullahi stated that Mohammed Babangida has gratefully accepted the appointment and extends his appreciation to President Tinubu for the trust and confidence bestowed upon him.

“We wish to clarify that Mohammed has gratefully accepted the appointment as Chairman of the Bank of Agriculture as announced by the federal government,” Abdullahi said.

“We also want to assure the public that those spreading these falsehoods will be thoroughly investigated and brought to justice.”

Mohammed Babangida’s appointment was among several strategic appointments approved by President Tinubu to strengthen leadership across key government institutions.
