Transcorp Hotels Plc, the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group), has announced its H1 unaudited results for June 30, 2025.
Gatekeepers News reports that the results reveal a remarkable 60% increase in revenue and a 71% surge in gross profit, highlighting the company’s resilience and consistent delivery of shareholder value despite a challenging economic climate.
According to the report, revenue rose sharply from ₦29.72 billion in H1 2024 to ₦47.57 billion in 2025, driven by strong demand, efficient operations, and a strategic expansion of its hospitality and event services.
Gross profit also experienced a major boost, rising from ₦21.19 billion to ₦36.21 billion, an impressive margin of 76%.
This performance comes amid Nigeria’s broader inflationary pressures and rising operational costs, underscoring the efficiency of Transcorp Hotels’ management and operational model.
As part of its commitment to creating value for shareholders, the company has declared an interim dividend payment of ₦1.024 billion. Shareholders will receive ₦0.10 per 50 kobo ordinary share, subject to withholding tax. The dividend reinforces the company’s policy of consistent returns and investor confidence.
A major highlight of the half-year period was the launch of the state-of-the-art Transcorp Centre, a 5,000-seat capacity venue designed to host large-scale corporate and entertainment events.
Positioned as the largest of its kind in Nigeria, the Transcorp Centre is a testament to the company’s forward-thinking strategy of diversifying its hospitality offerings. It is expected to unlock new revenue streams and cement Transcorp Hotels’ leadership in the event and hospitality sector.
Chairman of Transcorp Hotels Plc, Emmanuel Nnorom, attributed the success to a combination of innovation, strategic focus, and operational discipline.
He noted that the company’s H1 2025 results validate its transformative strategy, especially its focus on growth and efficiency.
Nnorom said, “Transcorp Hotels’ outstanding performance in the first half of 2025 further validates our transformative strategies, with a laser focus on innovation and operational efficiency.
