Family of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to their residence in Kaduna, 12 days after his burial in Daura.
Gatekeepers News reports that Mrs. Aisha Buhari, the former First Lady, and her son, Yusuf, were warmly received at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna on Sunday by State Deputy Governor Hadiza Balarabe.
The Deputy Governor was accompanied by the Majority Leader of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Munira Tanimu, and other senior government officials.
After the reception, the Deputy Governor escorted Mrs. Buhari and her entourage to their residence at Ungwan Rimi GRA in Kaduna.
The late President Muhammadu Buhari passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 82, in a London hospital, and was buried in Daura on July 15, 2025, in accordance with Islamic rites.
