Captain Rasheedat Ajibade of the Super Falcons has dedicated the team’s recent victory at the Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Super Falcons, and all children who aspire to achieve success.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Super Falcons celebrated their achievement as they became 10-time champions of WAFCON, enhancing the nation’s pride. Following their victory, the team was welcomed by President Tinubu and various dignitaries at the Presidential Villa on Monday.
During her remarks at the event, Ajibade expressed her commitment to dedicating the win to Tinubu and to every Nigerian child and girl who dreams of representing the nation on an international level.
