President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated three Nigerian students for emerging champions at 2025 TeenEagle Global Round competition held in London.
Gatekeepers News reports that the winners namely Nafisa Aminu, Rukayya Fema, and Hadiza Kalli represented Nigeria at this year’s edition of the international event.
Aminu,17, claimed the top prize for overall excellence in English language skills, Fema,15, ranked first in debate, while Kalli received the outstanding talent award alongside a gold medal.
In a statement released on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described their success as a clear demonstration of the brilliance and potential of Nigerian youths.
The statement reads, “President Tinubu commends these exceptional young Nigerians for the feat and affirms that the nation’s future is much brighter with many of its youth as repositories of excellence.”
The president also applauded the schools that nurtured the champions, calling their achievements “a testament to the quality and potential of Nigeria’s education system as a nurturer of some of the world’s brightest minds.”
He added, “The nation’s future is much brighter with many of its youth as repositories of excellence.”
Reiterating his administration’s commitment to advancing education, Tinubu cited initiatives such as Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) aimed at removing financial obstacles for indigent students.
He encouraged the award-winning students to stay focused on their academic journeys and wished them continued success.
