Nigerian singer, David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido has revealed that preparations for his upcoming white wedding with wife Chioma Rowland have cost more than $3.7 million.
Gatekeepers News reports that in a recent conversation with friends ahead of the lavish ceremony in Miami, USA, the singer joked that the scale of the celebration should reflect the huge expenditure.
He said, “ We have spent $3.7 million in cash. So we should know what we are doing. We are going crazy.”
The “Assurance” crooner confirmed that the wedding will take place in August.
Davido proposed to Chioma in 2019, but the relationship faced challenges in 2021. The couple tragically lost their first child, Ifeanyi, in October 2022.
In March 2023, Davido disclosed that they had married, and in October the same year, they welcomed twins in the US. Their traditional wedding was held in June 2024.
