Danboskid and Ibifubara were evicted during the Sunday live show, marking the first two housemates to leave the house since the season began two weeks ago.
Gatekeepers News reports that the eviction unfolded after a suspense-filled week where all housemates, except Head of House Victory and his chosen save, Kayikunmi, were placed up for eviction following the dramatic black envelope challenge.
Danboskid was the season’s first evictee. He hinted at pursuing a Nollywood career and confirmed he and fellow housemate Zita would stay in touch. Shortly afterward, Ibifubara was also evicted, prompting surprise among viewers who felt she still had much to offer in the game.
The eviction night also highlighted the week’s highlights, including Thelma Lawson’s rise to Head of House and a controversial “bread-gate” conflict involving accusations over a missing loaf.
Housemate Rooboy was voted Most Influential of the week, due to his vibrant Diary Room segments and prankster energy.
There are 27 housemates left in the house now, competing to fill the ₦150 million grand prize.
