Go For Confession If You Repeatedly Viewed Indecent Ibom Air Passenger Video— Catholic Priest

Catholic priest Emmanuel Ehioma has called on individuals who repeatedly watched the viral video of an Ibom Air passenger’s altercation to seek confession, warning that rewatching the clip “crosses a moral line.”

Gatekeepers News reports that the incident, captured in multiple videos shared on X on Sunday, shows passenger Comfort Emmanson assaulting a flight attendant and confronting airport security officials. Ibom Air later announced a travel ban on Emmanson for her conduct.

In earlier clips, Emmanson’s shirt appeared torn during the scuffle. Subsequent videos depicted her being forcibly removed from the aircraft, with her clothes ripped and her bosom exposed as she attempted to cover herself.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Ehioma said viewers were not at fault the first time they saw the video since they could not have anticipated its explicit content. However, he stressed that returning to watch it again is morally problematic.

He said, “ It wasn’t a SIN that you saw her .fe while watching that video bcos you didn’t expect it. But if you went back to watch it again, you have to go for confession.”

“This post doesn’t need to make you feel good,” he added, equating watching the video to viewing adult videos and obscene pictures.

The priest added, “ The second, third, fourth and other times you went back to watch that video were because of your hunger to see her nude and feel good about it, just the same way you act towards porns.”

He described it as regrettable that married men and women were publicly commenting on the woman’s body.

Ehioma added, “ Kindly meet your Priest and confess to the Lord.
