Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has said she is actively searching for love but refuses to compromise on certain requirements.
Gatekeepers News reports that while speaking during an interview on Apple Music 1, the singer playfully admitted that her specific relationship standards might be the reason she is still single.
Tiwa revealed she wants a partner who owns both a private jet and a yacht, and who comes without the complications of “baby mama” drama.
The 45-year-old mother of one stressed that stability, financial security, and a drama-free relationship are non-negotiable.
She said, “I’m still looking for someone’s son. I don’t have any [partner]. And I think it is because I’m asking for specific things. Maybe I need to narrow my search down,” she said.
“I’m actually looking for someone who has a private plane, yacht; someone who doesn’t have baby mama drama because I can’t deal with that. Maybe that’s my problem.”
The singer was previously married to music executive Tunji “TeeBillz” Balogun in 2013, and they share a son, Jamal, born in 2015. Their marriage ended in 2018.
