‘I’ll Continue To Partner With Serious States’ — Tinubu On Soludo’s Visit

President Bola Tinubu has affirmed that his administration is dedicated to collaborating with states that prioritise human, social, and economic development.

Gatekeepers Newreports that he made the remarks on Wednesday via a post on X after a meeting with Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra, at the presidential villa in Abuja.

During the meeting, Tinubu expressed his alignment with Soludo’s views on the importance of unity among those who advocate for progressive ideals. He emphasized the need for collective efforts to enhance democracy, improve security, and transform the economy.

“We discussed the bold reforms underway, the need to stay the course, and the importance of tackling insecurity through both decisive action and inclusive opportunities for our teeming youth,” the president said.

“Our administration will continue to partner with every state that is serious about human, social, and economic development because Nigeria’s progress is strongest when we work together.

“We will continue to take a bet on our dear country, Nigeria, to ensure sustainable and shared prosperity for the future.”

Gatekeepers News reports that the governor of Anambra attended a closed-door meeting, donning a cap featuring the insignia of President Tinubu, along with a traditional red outfit and a branded white face cap.

After the meeting, Soludo spoke with State House reporters, describing the discussions as “quite pleasant.” He also noted that President Tinubu is in “robust health and high spirits.”

Soludo also emphasised that his friendship with Tinubu has lasted over two decades and remains strong despite any political differences.
