Tottenham stunned Manchester City with a 2-0 win in their Premier League clash on Saturday.
Gatekeepers News reports that both goals came in the first half through Brennan Johnson and Joao Palhinha.
City started with Erling Haaland upfront, but Spurs were sharper. Richarlison led a quick counterattack that Johnson finished in the 37th minute.
Just before half-time, goalkeeper James Trafford misplaced a pass, and Palhinha’s shot, helped by a deflection, found the net for Tottenham’s second.
Despite City’s pressure in the second half, they could not break through. Spurs held firm to seal a famous victory, ending City’s 10-game unbeaten streak.
It also extend their own strong record at the Etihad, where they have now won four straight visits, and marked Tottenham’s eighth league win against City.
Meanwhile, Arsenal crushed Leeds United 5-0 to continue their perfect start to the season.
New signing Victor Gyokores scored two goals, one from open play and another from the penalty spot, while Jurrien Timber also scored twice and set up Bukayo Saka’s strike.
