Instrumentation Maintenance Technician

Description:
- Carrying out planned maintenance work (preventive and corrective), process improvement to reduce cost and increase production efficiency through software/instrumentation optimization on production facilities and/or utility facilities. Keeping/ bringing technical equipment in optimal condition.
- Comply to company regulations on Safety, Quality Health and Environment
Vacancy Description
- Sound knowledge in interpreting engineering drawing
- Knowledge of PCs and operating system in industrial controls
- Knowledge in caliberating relevant specific equipment
- Knowledge in installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing industrial control systems for all instrument on site.
- Knowledge in installaing and repairing electrical and instrument components such as motors, switches, relays, valve, loggers, weight scale or sensors
- Knowledge in servicing of fire supression devices
- Knowledge and experience in the field of conveyor system
- Knowledge and experience in the field of water treatment facilities, steam boiler facilities and compressed air generating facilities.
- Sound knowledge in pneumatics controls
- Sound electronic knowledge and semi conductor behaviours
- Knowledge in maintenance and servicing of processing equipment (pasteurizer, homogenizer, pump and valve)
- Knowledge in the field of power generation
- Knowledge in Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schnieder, Omron instrumentation softwares
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Maintenance execution
- Executes preventive and corrective maintenance work according to plan across the site
- Be versertile in all instrument operations and workings of the running software
- Fixes breakdowns and performs repairs that are Insrumentation related across site
- Be able to carryout software improvements on equioments for better performance
- Be able to conceptualize, design and implement machine/process improvement for increased outputs
- Ensure work order registration in CMMS (hours, materials, feedback text, etc.)
- Closes work order when work is finished
- Oversee/ carry out legal calibrations and testings on plant installations instruments
- Participates in work meetings and improvement teams
- Makes suggestions to optimize preventive maintenance plans
- Manages adjustments, Analyzes maintainability of adjustments, modifications and new constructions
- Gives input to updates of technical drawings, documentation, diagrams and settings
- Administrative handling of maintenance activities in Maintenance Management System
- Designing and testing instrumetation equipment and processes
- Exploring and implementing new ways to automate instrument systems
- Programming new Instrumetation components
- Identifying quality issues relating to equipment operations and writing reports
- Eliminating defects and errors with product and software development
- Collaborating with other business units to achieve process improvement and reducing production cost
- Enforcement – Safety, Quality, Healthy and Environment
- Applies and enforces all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental requirements and standards
- Implement relevant QSHE risk addressing maintenance
- Identifies unsafe and unhygienic situations and reports them to the supervisor
- Prepares work permit
- Perform LMRA before maintenance activities
- Applies LOTOTO procedure
