The household of Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has been thrown into mourning following the death of his son.
Gatekeepers News reports that the actor announced the tragic news through a post on his official Instagram page on Saturday.
The bereaved father posted a photo of the boy alongside a short prayer. He however didn’t reveal his cause of death.
He wrote, “Inna lillahi wa inna ileyhi rajiun Ya Allah. You are the knower of all things. Rest on dear son. Champ.”
This comes just days after Yoruba actress Peju Ogunmola lost her only son, Ayomikun, at the age of 24.
The actor has previously spoken about his painful experiences with loss. In June, he revealed that his first child was actually a baby girl who died due to his inability to pay hospital bills.
According to him, she was buried simply, wrapped in an old Coca-Cola crate because he could not afford a proper casket at the time.
