Award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tiwatope Savage popularly known as Tiwa Savage has disclosed that she has frozen her eggs as part of plans to have more children in the future.
Gatekeepers News reports that speaking in a recent interview on the JMatt Show, the 45-year-old Afrobeats star explained that she made the decision after considering her age and the need to preserve the quality of her eggs.
Tiwa Savage who already has a son, Jamil Balogun, from her marriage to Tunji ‘TeeBillz’ Balogun, said she is intentional about preparing for the future.
She said, “I do not want a girl, I want more boys. I have actually done some egg freezing. I think I’m just preparing, I think it is good to.”
“Like I said, I am not young, so I took into consideration my age and I am trying to get my eggs while they are still very healthy.”
Savage tied the knot with TeeBillz in 2013, and they welcomed their son Jamil in 2015 before officially parting ways in 2018.
