President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lifted the emergency rule imposed in Rivers State.
Gatekeepers News reports that the development was announced in a statement on Wednesday.
The president instructed Governor Siminalayi Fubara, who had been suspended, to return to office on Thursday, September 18.
He also directed Deputy Governor Ngozi Nma Odu and members of the Rivers State House of Assembly to resume their official duties.
