Former U.S. President Joe Biden has commenced radiation therapy following a diagnosis of an aggressive prostate cancer that has spread to his bones.
Gatekeepers News reports that according to his media aide, Kelly Scully, Biden began the treatment as part of a comprehensive medical plan that also includes hormone therapy.
Recall that the 82-year-old former president was diagnosed in May after consulting his doctor over persistent urinary issues.
Before this, Biden had undergone several medical procedures to address various health concerns. In September, he received Mohs surgery to remove cancerous skin cells. Earlier in February 2023, doctors extracted a basal cell carcinoma from his chest — a common form of skin cancer.
In November 2021, he also had a benign polyp removed from his colon, which doctors described as potentially pre-cancerous.
