Showmax has announced the upcoming release of ‘The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa’.
Gatekeepers News reports that the new reality TV series which unites popular housewives from different African cities for an unforgettable adventure in Brazil, is set to premiere on Friday, November 28, 2025.
The all-star lineup features Mariam Timmer from The Real Housewives of Lagos, Princess Jecoco from The Real Housewives of Abuja, Annie Mthembu, Angel Ndlela, and Jojo Robinson from The Real Housewives of Durban.
Evodia Mogase and Christall Kay from The Real Housewives of Johannesburg, Catherine Masitsa and Zena Nyambu from The Real Housewives of Nairobi, will also join the cast.
Produced by GOAT Productions, the team behind Unfollowed, Untied, and Life With Kelly Khumalo Season 3, the show promises to deliver high drama, luxury, and cultural flair as these women come together on an international stage.
Atinuke Babatunde, Executive Head of Channels and Content (West Africa) at MultiChoice, described the series as “a fresh and exciting celebration of African women and their shared experiences,” noting that audiences have warmly embraced The Real Housewivesfranchise across the continent.
Barrie Kelly, Vice President of International Format Production and Development at NBCUniversal Formats, also expressed excitement about the project, saying the new edition takes the vibrant energy of Africa’s Housewives to the next level through its collaboration with GOAT Productions and Showmax.
The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa is modeled after the U.S. version, which first launched in 2021, and aims to showcase the glamour, strength, and cultural richness of African women on a global platform.
