Bayern Munich Extend Kompany’s Contract

Vincent Kompany has signed a two-year contract extension with Bayern Munich, keeping him at the club until 2029, the Bundesliga champions announced on Tuesday.

Gatekeepers Newreports that Kompany who was not Bayern’s first-choice candidate when appointed in the summer of 2024, silenced critics by guiding the club back to the Bundesliga title in his debut season, reclaiming it from Bayer Leverkusen.

The 39-year-old Belgian has enjoyed a remarkable start to the current campaign, with Bayern winning all 11 matches so far and topping both the Bundesliga and Champions League standings.
