Africa’s richest man and founder of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has announced plans to scale up operations at Dangote Petroleum Refinery, raising its current capacity from 650,000 barrels per day (bpd) to 1.4 million bpd.
Gatekeepers News reports that speaking at a press conference on Sunday, the Dangote Group founder said the project, which is expected to be completed within the next three years, will position the refinery as the largest globally.
