Hon. Inna Galadima, who emerged as the unopposed candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday, vowed to enhance the provision of quality education and improve security of lives and property in Jere Local Government Council of Borno State.
Gatekeepers News reports that Galadima’s win represents a re-election bid ahead of the December 13 Local Government Council elections , as she is currently serving as the chairperson of Jere Council
Hon Galadimma’s victory marks a significant achievement, making her the first female to be elected Council Chairperson in Borno State. Her impressive track record as a former Commissioner and Special adviser in the state has earned her widespread recognition and support.
Galadima told reporters in Maiduguri, the state capital that she is super confident of winning the Jere Council election for a second term pointing out that she’s banking on the many lives impacting achievements in her first tenure and her strong grassroot support to further improve the lives of her people through quality education and enhanced security.
According to Galadima , education remain the bedrock of any meaningful development noting that “my commitment to education is unwavering and I Intend to raise the bar in my second tenure.

“My team and I. have made concerted efforts to reach every community in Jere Local Government Area to ensure school-age children return to their classrooms. We acknowledged that some parents work alongside their children during school hours to make ends meet, so we offered support to alleviate their struggles.” Galadimma said
The Jere Council Chairperson praised Borno State Governor Prof Babagana Zulum for his dedication to education across the state, particularly in Jere Council, highlighting the construction of well-equipped “Mega Schools” in various parts of the local government area.
On the issue of security, Hon Galadima revealed that famars herders clashes which ranks top on the security challenge has received the desired attention due to collaboration with relevant security agencies and the traditional rulers at the grassroot level.
She maintained that additional security measures have also been put in place to safeguard farmers from attacks by Boko Haram insurgents who had invaded some farmlands and killed some farmers in the past.
“The security of our people and their properties is crucial. In my second term, we’ll strengthen security measures that will bring about significant improvements across Jere Local Government Council.” Galadima said .
Residents of Jere Local Government Council on Saturday erupted in joy and celebration upon hearing that Galadima had secured her party’s ticket. Many of them are eager for her to continue making a positive impact in their lives as they prepare to support her re-election bid in the December 13th Council elections in Borno state .
“We will continue to support Hon Inna Galadimma to win a second term in office. We want her to continue the good work she has started ” Bana Modu , a resident of Jere Local Government said.
Another resident and Supervisory Councillor, Primary Healthcare In Jere Local Government , Hon Zara Saidu said ” We’re extremely happy about this development, Hon Galadima will win with a landslide come December 13th .
With education and security at the forefront of her agenda, Galadima is poised to make a lasting impact on the lives of the people of Jere, solidifying her position as a champion of progress and development in Borno State.
