Okpebholo Approves New Appointments Into Edo Government

Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo has approved the appointment of new officials into various positions across the state government.

Gatekeepers News reports that this was announced in a statement on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Umar Musa Ikhilor.

Hon. Orobosa Omo-Ojo, JP, was appointed as General Manager of the Bendel Newspaper Corporation; Hon. John Osagie Inegbedion as Special Adviser on Tax Reforms; Johnson Jibril Adamu as Special Adviser on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation; and Shuaibu Elamah as Special Adviser on Law Reforms.

Others include Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Imafidor as Special Adviser on Livestock, Aquaculture, and Agro-Processing; Omorede O. E. Osifo as Special Adviser on Women Mobilization; Esther O. Eghaghe as Special Adviser on Women Mobilization (Edo Central); Vera Omonkhafe Sadoh as Special Adviser on Women Mobilization (Edo North); Mrs. Itohan Osahon as Special Adviser on Women Mobilization (Edo South); and Anslem Adima as Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

According to the statement, all appointments take effect from October 27, 2025.
