United States President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Nigeria, threatening military intervention if the country’s government fails to curb the alleged killing of Christians by Islamist groups.
Gatekeepers News reports that in a fiery post shared on his Truth Social platform on Saturday, Trump alleged that Christian communities in Nigeria were facing mass slaughter and accused the Nigerian government of turning a blind eye.
The former president said he had instructed U.S. military officials to begin evaluating potential actions against the Islamic terrorists.
He wrote, “If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.”
“I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians.”
