Gov Okpebholo Appoints Iseghohimen Okoror As Edo Solicitor General

Governor of Edo state, Senator Monday Okpebholo has approved the appointment of Iseghohimen Stephen Okoror as the new Solicitor General of the state.

Gatekeepers News reports that this was announced in a statement signed by Umar Musa Ikhilor, Secretary to the State Government (SSG) on Friday.

Okoror, a legal practitioner and former State Counsel in Niger State, earned his law degree from the University of Uyo.

He currently serves as the Legal Adviser to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo and has previously held similar advisory positions at both state and local government levels.

He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Nigeria), and a Notary Public of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

According to the statement, the appointment takes immediate effect.
