Edo State Special Security Squad, code-named Operation Flush Out Cultists and Kidnappers, has congratulated Governor Monday Okpebholo on his first anniversary in office.
Gatekeepers News reports that in a statement on Wednesday, the squad lauded Governor Okpebholo’s leadership and commitment to peace and development across the state.
It praised the Governor for his achievements under the SHINE Agenda, describing it as a divine vision that has delivered tangible progress in security, human capital development, and community growth.
The security outfit noted that the noticeable decline in cult-related activities across Edo State reflected Governor Okpebholo’s dedication to effective governance and his administration’s proactive approach to crime prevention.
The statement read, “We, the Edo State Special Security Squad, under the leadership of the Principal Security Officer (PSO), take pride in our partnership with your administration in combating cultism and enhancing security across Edo State.”
“Together, let’s continue to safeguard our communities, city, and state while nurturing a safer environment for all.”
The coordinator of the squad, Noah Idemudia, reaffirmed the team’s support for the government’s efforts to sustain peace and order, adding that the collaboration between the state and security agencies would further strengthen public safety.
