Nigerian media personality and former Big Brother Naija (BBN) housemate, Anita Natacha Akide popularly known as Tacha, has made history.
Gatekeepers News reports that the celebrity has been officially recognised by Guinness World Records (GWR) for setting two world records in one day: the highest number of individual cosmetic makeovers in both eight‑hour and 24‑hour windows.
According to Guinness World Record, Tacha completed 82 makeovers in an eight‑hour span and went on to transform 144 faces over a 24‑hour period, surpassing previous records.
Reacting to the recognition, Tacha shared an emotional video on Instagram, saying, “First Nigerian to break 2 records at a go. God did it, my messiah did it, ‘My mummy in HEAVEN!! YOU DID IT!!! I felt you holding my shoulders when my knees were shaking. I carried your strength into that room and I didn’t stop.”
She also expressed her gratitude to fans, adding, “Where would I be without you? When the world wrote me off, when I was blacklisted for being real, toucher, authentic, unapologetic! You held me up. You prayed, you posted, you pushed, you defended. You made me your personal project and refused to let me quit. Because you don’t stop, I will never stop. The world will never forget your name.”
With this recognition, Tacha joins the growing list of Nigerian talents celebrated on the global stage, further cementing her status as a leading figure in beauty, creativity, and social influence.
