50 of the 315 students kidnapped on Friday from St. Mary’s Catholic School, Papiri, have regained their freedom.
Gatekeepers News reports that this was announced in an update released on Sunday by Daniel Atori, media aide to the Bishop of Kontagora Catholic Diocese and state Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) chairman.
Atori noted that the children fled from their captors and have since been reunited with their families.
