President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has confirmed that the federal government’s coordinated security efforts have led to the rescue of all 38 worshippers abducted in Eruku, Kwara State, and 51 out of the students kidnapped from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Niger State.

Gatekeepers News reports that in a statement, Tinubu recalled cancelling his trip to the G20 summit in South Africa to personally oversee security operations across the country.

The president said he has been receiving constant updates from frontline commanders and is monitoring the situation nationwide.

Tinubu assured citizens that his administration will not relent in its efforts to secure lives and property, stressing that every Nigerian is entitled to safety.

He concluded, “Let me be clear: I will not relent. Every Nigerian, in every state, has the right to safety — and under my watch, we will secure this nation and protect our people.”
