Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has offered to pay the funeral expenses of the victims killed during a mass shooting at a two-year-old’s birthday celebration in Stockton, California.
Gatekeepers News reports that the singer made the commitment after learning the details of the November 30 tragedy during an interview on The Breakfast Club.
He reportedly contacted American music executive Wack 100, who linked him with Jason Lee, CEO of Hollywood Unlocked and vice mayor of Stockton.
In a statement, Burna Boy said the news of the murdered children deeply affected him, stressing that no family should bear such grief alone. He added that his support is meant to help the parents begin their difficult journey toward healing.
Lee noted that Burna Boy was visibly shaken, especially upon discovering that several of the victims were children.
