Ebo Noah, the Ghanaian man who built a massive wooden vessel known as the Ebo Noah Ark, has revised his prophecy that the world would end on December 25.
Gatekeepers News reports that Ebo became known globally after claiming he received a divine message about a deadly flood that would start on December 25 and last three years, wiping out the earth.
He urged people to repent and pay attention to his warning while constructing what he said was an ark under God’s direction. Videos of the project went viral, attracting visitors and widespread media interest both in Ghana and abroad.
In a new video released on Thursday, Ebo said that after praying, fasting, and consulting with other religious leaders, he received another vision.
Ebo stated that in the vision he saw so many people coming to the ark from across the world that it would not be large enough to hold them all.
He added that after discussing this with other ministers and praying together, he asked God for more time. Ebo said God granted this extension to build additional arks to accommodate everyone seeking salvation.
He said, “God reveals to redeem. I have prayed, I have fasted, I have donated, and I have built”, explaining that the visions showed the vessel could not contain all who might come. He said the proposed expansion would ensure more people could be saved.
Ebo also told the public not to rush to the ark site on December 25, stressing he was not selling tickets or taking money from anyone.
He said, while still urging people to repent, “ Please, stay home. Enjoy yourself. Have fun. And also, I am wishing all of you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
Observers say Ebo’s prophecy and the ark project echo the biblical story of Noah, who built an ark before the flood. His revised message has drawn mixed reactions online, with some followers expressing continued belief and others questioning the claims.
International reports note that although the predicted doomsday did not occur, Ebo’s explanation seeks to redirect attention to his faith message rather than the failed date.
